Man, they should give us a two episode special once in a while it’s been like how long since they did that because episodes like this are too short Especially when they start doing flashbacks

Last time was in WCI where Luffy VS Sanji I think, true it is been a long time, but they made it slow paced like this because they want to drag it. So I think even if Toei made a two episode special, the content will be the same. Heck it might be even worse with more filler scene.

It's not too farfetched tho. He's literally a child. Oden was super playful and goofy personality wise...that's the side of Oden Momo grew up with. There's no realistic angle to say momo would magically become strong like Oden whatsoever.
I think parents waste time when it comes to that. My little sister isnt even 10 and I have already started teaching her how to fight and defend herself. (Of course I teaching her to be humble and loving too). But I'm not going to wait until she's grown up and busy to do so. If Oden had taught momo atleast one good combat skill, im sure when he got that age boost it couldve gotten stronger making him come a bit closer to living up to his dad's strength. like Gon from Hunter x Hunter type of power up lol.

it'd be bad for toei cuz they wouldn't be making money lmao. One piece pacing has been an issue since before dressrosa and i dont think they're ever gonna fix the pacing cuz they get two benefits out of it.
1. Money
2. They won't catchup to the manga, meaning they won't run out of content.

that is the sad truth.. esp when you consider that by doing this piss poor pacing they can resell the series without the fillers a couple of years after it finishes

I have said for years they could do a mini arc about time-skip training.
I guess not showing it means he can keep making new stuff and say it was learned during the skip.... though why they would hold back moves doffy onwards makes no sense

at this point I'd be in for like a 6 month hiatus, i don't care, as I don't see that much flashbacks and other useless stuff, which clearly isn't necessary at all for them to fight

I'm a manga reader, without any spoilers it will be a good while until G5 makes an appearance.

There are about 11 more chapters of content between where the anime is and the manga reveal of G5. The anime adapts barely 1 chapter an episode. So it will be about 11 weeks until G5 is revealed (unless Toei add more and more filler to each episode)

I'm gonna take a random guess and say 5th g is gonna happen in like late july. Could be later.

on my calculations he should've had his 5 G already but well, it wasn't here, it probably will be another 2-3 episodes, maybe even more . . .

I really loved that Samurai fillers where Luffy is a police boss or something and they're living in a setting similar to Wano I remember that country was called Grand Jipong lol, they should bring those fillers back they were quite enjoyable.

Also finally Zoro said it Luffy is his best friend ever, well it was always obvious but they never themselves said it before, I really love their friendship🤝❣️
